31 days of Eco Friendly Decorating Ideas

I love decorating, it's kind of my passion, but sometimes I feel a little guilty when I consider the amount of materials and resources required and waste generated when creating a beautiful space. I am always trying to find ways to reuse materials by either giving them a new life or finding a new use for them. 

When I heard that the nester is hosting a 31 day series, I thought it would be a great idea to join in and share a few of the eco friendly ideas I have compiled from the web, magazines and personal experience. 

Starting tomorrow and continuing through the end of October, I will be sharing different ways to reuse and reinvent materials to decorate your home and incorporate when entertaining, to use in the upcoming holiday decor and parties, as well as eco- friendly tips that you can use in your home all year round.

I plan to divide the ideas in the following categories: 

• Eco friendly Home Décor: reusing, and/or repurposing items for your Home décor categorized by room
• Ecofriendly Holiday Décor: reusing and repurposes items for holiday décor categorized by the holiday event

• Eco friendly products resources for your Home Decor
