Similar to our master bedrooms in Hawaii and Missouri, I wanted to keep a romantic, soothing and relaxing vibe. Some of the pieces are the same, like the headboard, sitting area chairs, and that secretary desk that I use as a dresser. We added a few new pieces: the green night stands, the brown dresser with diy knobs and my husband's favorite his man valet to put his next day outfit (read military uniform). There's many things I would love to add/do/change to this room but without the budget and with us moving next summer, I decided to save the projects for our next house :-) Some of the things I would have love to add would be a big statement wall paper, stenciled wall art behind the bed, a bigger/new headboard, reupholster the sitting area chairs and rip off that horrible carpet and add hardwood floors!! just to name a few :-)
