It was then when I decided to order this cd file cabinet and make it my own. I painted the drawers in pink and creating the ombre effect, spray painted the handles gold and added legs.
I love the way it turned out ! I eliminated 3 rubbermaid boxes of crafting storage, the drawers were also perfect to fit thank you, note and greeting cards… feel so organized now! I still have to add labels but that's another day project :-)
Hi, this is fantastic! Can you be more specific about your HOW TO. Like, how did you spray paint all those handles? Did you remove them first? And regarding the ombre, did you lay out all the paint chips to get the colors right and is that brush painted? Gloss, matte? Do you have any DIY fotos? Thanks so much
ReplyDeleteHi there, I took all the handles off and spray painted them. For the drawers, I took them off the cabinet, sanded and used a latex paint roller with gloss paint from Lowes. I chose the colors by comparing the paint chips and just finding a mix that I liked.. Hope that helps :-) and thanks for stopping by..
