Savannah House Tour

I'm moving on... I mean it's been a year since we moved out from our savannah home. It's time we move on to our next homes but in honor of the great memories created in our first owned home I wanted to share a complete tour of our home and how it all started.

This is how our house looked when we first moved in:

We started by changing the appliances in the kitchen, designning a
new kitchen island and a bench in the breakfast nook.

On the dinning room we just changed the chandelier

The rest of the house consisted in decorating and making the house feel like a home, make it our own.
From outside in, we redid the front yard and  like true southerners we added rocking chairs to the front porch.

In the Entryway we added a bench and a table as well as DIY roman shades.

The living room went throng a few changes.

One of my favorite spots in the house was the cozy reading nook in our guest bedroom

I really miss our master bedroom and the extra space, I mean you really appreciate the extra space after you downsize.

oh and talking about the extra space, I thought my closet was small however the new house's closet makes me reminisce  my old closet

Another of my favorites spots in the house was my Girl Cave aka my home office

Now, my husband's favorite spot in the house was his Man Cave, here is where he kept all his "toys" and where I put all of his LSU/Saints decor

Our Laundry was also very convenient as it provided lots of storage

We made many happy memories hosting bbq's on our back porch and back yard

We loved to entertaining in our home so to finish reminiscing  I want to recap some of my favorites soiree we hosted.
