DIY Decorative Pillow

I got this pom pom fabric a while ago and wanted to make a decorative pillow for my home office. which is kind of my craft room and girl cave, my husband wouldn't allow this pink pretty anywhere else in our house ^_^  Who know it might eventually transition in a kids room...

It was super easy to make, here is what you need in addition to stuffing material to fill the pillow:

the how to:
  •  make the pillow like you would any other decorative pillow.
    • Cut two pieces of fabric in the size you would like the pillow to be.
    • with wrong side of fabric facing each other sew both pieces together leaving a portion big enough to add the stuffing.
    • turn the pillow inside out and add stuffing
    • sew the open seam
  • make tassel
    • to make tassels wrap yarn around your fingers in the length you desire your tassel to be
    • with a small piece of yarn tie one side of the yarn collected as shown in the picture
    • with another piece of yarn tie the yarn together to create the tassel as shown in picture
    • cut the bottom of yarn that still connected
  • attach tassels to pillow
    • use a needle and thread to attach the tassel to the corners of your pillow
