Nautical Decor : Reading Nook

I have been working on decorating our guest bedroom. Since I am currently loving the combination of navy blue and brass,  it would be a perfect color combo to create a sophisticated nautical chic oasis for our guests. I am still working on the rest of the room but here is a sneak peek of the reading nook.

Our guest bedroom has a dormer window, that desperately needed some attention. I thought it would be perfect to create a little reading nook. I first saw the awning window treatment idea here and knew I wanted one for our window. We also had a bench built in which also provides storage. (Yay for extra storage!) 

I just couldn't decide which color rug I liked better white or coral? Which one do you prefer?
