Welcome to Georgia Themed Dinner Party


a few weeks ago I hosted a dinner party for the senior spouses of our battalion.  since we were welcoming the new command team spouses I thought it was a great excuse to decorate the dinner table!  I decided to use a Georgia Peach theme to welcome them to the area.

 I choose a yellow and peach color pallette, added southern sayings signs, peaches, doilies and lace to complete the look.




 For the food I made a simple shrimp boil, my favorite dessert, flan and added a southern flavor by adding peaches, served peach sangria, citrus water and ice tea. Other spouses also brought dishes to share and they were all delicious!








my favorite part of entertaining is definitely decorating and all the pretty details like the napkins above… do you enjoy entertaining? What is you favorite part of the process?

    Hey! What a cute party. Hope ya'll had fun! I am welcoming my BFF back to Georgia after she's lived out of state for over 20 years, and was wondering where you got that banner? And if you'd possibly sell it to me??? Thanks for considering.

    Hi there! Sorry for the late response... Thanks for your kind comment.. I did the banner using scrapbooking paper and no longer have it..
